For Christmas, my brother-in-law bought himself an iRobot Roomba 980. Priced at $899.00, the autonomous robotic vacuum has wheels and rotating brushes that cleans floors, and, well, lives. Upon seeing it, I was skeptical because I am old-school and like to use sweeping/cleaning as therapy...also, I was raised in a home where cleaning is a rite of passage, so I deeply value the cultural tradition that comes with a clean home. How to travel comfortably during your next long-haul flight

People call me crazy, but I actually love long-distance flights. Growing up flying back and forth between Korea and the United States, I’ve become accustomed to 12- or 14-hour flights and use that time to unwind and recharge for the trip ahead. There are many benefits to long-distance flights, such as free meals, and access to an entire library of the latest movies and TV shows. I usually catch up on all the shows I’ve been meaning to watch during my flights to Korea! In addition, while having zero access to the Internet for 14 hours can be a scary thought, it actually forces you to take your eyes off the tiny screen and rest.
However, not all long-distance flying is created equal, and there are some ways to make your next in-flight experience even better. Here are some of my tips and tricks I’ve learned along the way:
