Best Planners to Keep You Organized in 2017

Anyone who works with me knows that I’m a sucker for to-do lists. They help me stay organized and prioritize my to-dos, and in a fast-paced field like PR, that’s incredibly important. And while sticky notes are great, they pile up and can easily be misplaced. That’s why I’m a big fan of planners...yes, the ones you were given in grade school. Thankfully, there are a ton of really neat planners to choose from. Below are a few of my recommendations on planners to help you stay focused and organized this year:

Day Designer - Day Designer is probably my favorite planner. They come in several beautiful designs, from stripes and polka dots, to floral patterns and prints, and they have everything you need to stay organized. Planners come in two different sizes (I love the larger ones), and they offer monthly and weekly views, so you can plan weeks and months ahead. And for those of you who like to plan out your meals, there is even a section to plan dinner! Not to mention each page offers an inspirational quote, a nice pick-me-up to get you through the week.

Passion Planner - The interesting thing about Passion Planner is that it started as a Kickstarter project! Passion Planner is focused on helping you find your passions and meeting your personal goals. While I haven’t used one myself, I know many people who use Passion Planner to do things like map out their fitness goals and plan trips in addition to using it as a work planner. Passion Planner includes a typical weekly layout and also offers a  goal-setting guide that helps you define your goals and outline clear actions to achieve them.

Simplified Planner - Simplified Planner is in many ways similar to Day Designer. It also comes in several beautiful designs and was created to help busy women stay organized and “carve white space for the good stuff in life.” They come in weekly editions (which shows one week across two pages) and daily editions (day-on-a-page format), so you can choose the one that works best with your planning style. They also make great gifts. You can personalize them by adding a monogram of your choice. Note: these planners sell out quickly, so if you’re thinking about getting one, don’t wait too long!
