3 Fun Things You Can Do With Your Instagram Photos

Alongside Gmail and Facebook, Instagram is one of the most frequently used apps on my smartphone. As an avid photographer, I love posting my own pictures on Instagram, and to browse through others’ beautifully ‘grammed photos. However, there are times when I just want to print a photo from Instagram to stick on my wall or use the photos I’ve taken to create a nice gift for friends and family. Thankfully, there are a ton of companies that offer Instagram-friendly printing options that are not only easy, but also affordable and stylish!

Artifact Uprising

Artifact Uprising is a popular photo printing service that lets you be really creative with your photographs. As one the leaders in this space, Artifact Uprising stands out in its print quality -- don’t expect to receive the cheap prints! You can print your Instagram images, create a calendar, make a photo book, and even print holiday or thank you cards either online or through your smartphone. Last year, I made a calendar using some photos I had taken of my family as a Christmas present for my parents, and they LOVED it.

Social Print Studio

Social Print Studio lets you print anything from palm-sized squares to life-sized posters, which is perfect for when you’re decorating an office or a new apartment. In addition, they offer creative services like wood prints (because who wouldn’t want their Instagram photos printed on real wood?!) and magnets to stick on your refrigerator. I personally love their photostrips, which looks like a photobooth print.

Parabo Press

I recently found about Parabo Press, which offers unique printing options for anyone looking to be a bit creative with their Instagram photos. Through this service, you can print your photos on real glass (for clumsy people like me, do not fear as they will be printed on Corning Gorilla Glass, which is extremely durable). These glass prints allow sunlight to shine through, creating a beautiful reflection of your photos during daylight. Parabo Press also lets you create an accordion zine, which can be used as a portfolio if you’re looking to enter the photography business.
