5 “Tasty,” Veggie-Friendly Recipes that Will Make Your Mouth Water

We’re all guilty of spending too much time watching Buzzfeed’s Tasty videos on Facebook. You know, that moment when you’re scrolling through your News Feed and you come across a video of the perfect brownie tiramisu or spinach and artichoke mac ‘n’ cheese. And it all goes downhill from there. Before you know it, you’re knee-deep in recipes, watching videos on everything from fun, easy appetizers to tips for meal prep.

For me, and many others, Tasty is a guilty pleasure. I have tons of videos saved on Facebook. And while there are too many to choose favorites, here are five recipes that I’m currently loving:

Healthy Cauliflower Fried ‘Rice’: Everyone in the office knows how much I LOVE cauliflower rice! It’s a regular part of my diet because it’s healthy, and it’s very easy to make. You can make it in several different ways and it goes with any theme: Indian, Asian, Mexican -- whatever you’re feeling. This one is a quick, easy fried rice recipe that doesn’t call for too many ingredients. And for my fellow vegetarians out there, simply swap out the meat for tofu!

Pull-Apart Garlic Rolls: This appetizer is always a hit at any party. They’re fun to eat, and they only take about 20 minutes to make! Oh, and fun tip, if you love garlic, I recommend adding in some fresh garlic to bring out the taste a bit more.

Roasted Veggie Salad with Avocado Dressing: Because, well...I love roasted veggies, and I love avocado, so why not?

Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos: One of the disadvantages of being a vegetarian is that you don’t get to eat buffalo wings! I’m a huge fan of tangy wing sauce, so I was super excited to see this Cauliflower-based recipe. And if you use lettuce wraps instead of tortillas, you’ve got yourself a solid no-carb meal.

Upside-Down Apple Cake: I’m a huge fan of the fall, aka apple-picking season! When Tasty posted this new upside-down apple cake recipe, I couldn’t wait to find the nearest apple orchard. I have yet to try this one out, and I’m looking forward to pairing it with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!
