Cutline Playlist: Sounds of Summer!

Summer Solstice is officially here, and it’s the perfect time to make sure your summer soundtrack is up to speed. To celebrate the season, we put together a few of our favorite hits in Cutline’s Sounds of Summer playlist, available on Spotify, which we'll continue to update! Here’s what we’re jamming to and why:

Song: “Despacito” (Remix)
Artist(s): Luis Fonsi feat. Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber
Why do you love it?: Des...pa...cito. What can I say, those four syllables heard ‘round the world just do somethin’ to me! We had a blast promoting Yahoo Vida y Español’s interview with Luis Fonsi, where he discussed how Justin Bieber approached him to be on a remix, and the song has followed me ever since -- from my vacation in Mexico to playlists at work to vacation in L.A. to every NYC venue -- it’s an earworm that makes me want to sing and dance to it...each and every time.

Song: “I’m The One”
Artist(s): DJ Khaled  ft. Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne
Why do you love it?: It’s such a good summer song to dance to, play at a BBQ or on a boat, and it has a fun lineup of artists, all bringing something different to the song.

Song: “Love Never Felt So Good”
Artist(s): Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson
Why do you love it?: This song brings together two of my favorite artists - JT and Michael Jackson - together, and I love everything about it! It has a great, fun beat that is perfect for summer beach days.
-Hyeri

Song: “Hey Lion”
Artist(s): Sofi Tukker
Why do you love it?: Fun beats, summer vibes and a fab female artist make it the perfect summertime combination.

Song: Nights
Artist(s): Frank Ocean
Why do you love it?: Frank Ocean’s Blonde album came out awhile ago but it’s still my absolute favorite album to listen to all the way through, no matter the time of year! It makes me feel happy, nostalgic, and also chill, which is the perfect music if you ask me to blast while laying on the beach or by the river with a drink in hand. If I had to pick one song on the album, it’d have to be Nights - it’s like 3 songs in one!
