Q. What will you do at Cutline?
I’m learning the ins-and-outs of the various accounts I’m working on and what it takes to make it as a PR pro in the city. I’m excited to bring a fresh perspective to the crew and learn from the best.
Q. What's your greatest moment in PR so far?
Although I’m still fairly new to the field, my greatest moments are the ones where I feel like I’m doing what I’m meant to do, career and -life- wise. PR is so exciting to me because you have to constantly stay on the pulse of the latest news and trends. Every day is a new and unpredictable challenge. I think the greatest PR successes meet these challenges with ingenuity and innovation. I definitely look forward to great PR moments ahead with Cutline!
Q. Who do you love to follow on Twitter and why?
One of my favorite news-related accounts is @HuffPostWomen, but when I’m in need of a laugh, I love seeing @AnnaKendrick on my timeline. @NYTMinusContext is pretty great too. The account takes short phrases out of @NYTimes stories and tweets them without the context of the rest sentence, which makes for a humorous and sometimes insightful account.
Q. What's the one gadget service you wish someone would come up with?
Wireless laptop chargers!!!! A girl needs to binge in peace.
Q. Android, iPhone, or other?
Besides my first smartphone (a Blackberry my freshman year of high school), my iPhone has been attached to my hip for years. I don’t see that changing!
Q. What's your favorite thing about living in New York?
The energy here is unparalleled. There’s something electric about this city and the people in it. I may be a recent transplant, but the city’s draw is undeniable.
Q. What do you love to do when you're not working?
I’m still getting to know the city, so exploring and getting acquainted is how I’m spending a lot of my time. When I’m not playing tourist in my new home, you can catch me going for a run or enjoying a Netflix binge -- because balance.
