In our team meeting at the end of every month, one Cutliner is invited to share a final thought. It’s a cool way to inspire and motivate the team and help set the tone for the following month. I’m always astounded by the creativity and different interpretations that are shared. Some people read stories, others play songs or share lyrics -- the only constant is that it’s always different. Last week, Liz left us with a quote from Alice Parker that hit home for me -- “The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any.” I just loved it and it made me think about the power of a good self pep talk.
