Podcasts have become all the rage and I personally love them because it’s a different platform to get your news, and learn about all things tech, science, pop culture, and everything in between. Below are a few of my favorite podcasts I listen to during my commute or a workout, or even when I just need time to unwind. All are available for free in the Podcasts app on iOS devices.
Recode Decode: No huge surprise this one made the list since Recode covers all the latest in tech and that’s what we love learning about here at Cutline! The variety of guests are really what makes the podcast listen-worthy. Episodes include opinions and thoughtful conversations among business leaders, reporters, politicians, professors, and more.
Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!: It’s an NPR podcast that’s a play on trivia and current events, and tests listeners on whether news is real or fake. Very entertaining, like a live late night talk show, and it also makes me feel like I’m listening to an episode of Jeopardy and learning a lot during my commute into the office.
The Morning Breath: If you’re familiar with the woman behind @GirlWithNoJob and her hilarious memes, then you’ll love the podcast she hosts with her sister, @JackieOProblems. Their chemistry is effortless while they share the top five pop culture news stories of the last 24 hours, in a hilarious recap. Headlines include celebrity breakups, viral news stories, recaps of popular TV shows including Game of Thrones and The Bachelorette, and more.
Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations: I just started listening to this one but who doesn’t love Oprah?! It’s very uplifting and inspiring so far! The podcast features Oprah’s interviews with her favorite innovators and leaders (like Sheryl Sandberg), best-selling authors, spiritual leaders, and health and wellness experts. It’s all about being your best self!
