Cutline Speaks: 7 Questions with…Kyra

The Cutline crew is very excited to welcome Kyra to our team! She joins us in San Francisco after working in London and New York City. Read on to get to know more about Kyra.

What will you do at Cutline?

As a Director, I get to work alongside an AMAZING team and with an incredible portfolio of clients! I’m excited to contribute to an atmosphere of curiosity and creativity. I love being part of the continued blurring of the lines when it comes to defining PR.

I hope to help fuel a mindset of experimentation and to constantly seek new ways to not only tell, but also show, meaningful stories for our clients.

What's your favorite PR experience so far?

Having the opportunity to work in London for a year was both professionally and personally one of my “favourite” PR experiences so far! Unrelated to that, interviewing Pierce Brosnan on the red carpet at an event in Hollywood was pretty exhilarating at the time!

If you could be in the movie of your choice, what movie would you choose and what character would you play?

Audrey Hepburn in anything. What a class act, not to mention the best wardrobe! I also find her hilarious, and of course, timeless.

Tell us about a few of your favorite things… including, of course, your favorite gadget or app!

Hands down, my cell phone is the gadget I use most. Blame it on the apps. Google Maps, ESPN Fantasy Sports, Spotify, Nike Run or Strava and Instagram are opened frequently, but Pinterest takes the cake. I use it for inspiration when cooking, getting dressed, cutting my hair, planning a party or exploring a travel destination. I love using Pinterest to share ideas and stay connected with my friends and family. We have shared boards for everything! It is no surprise then, I am delighted to work with a company that holds Pinterest as a client.

Where is your favorite place in the world and why?

Home. Anywhere I get to spend time with my family and friends.

What is your secret, hidden talent?

It must be so hidden I’m not sure I’ve found it yet, 🙂 but I do fancy myself a decent photographer on the go. My favorite photos are of moments that only last for a short time before they change into a different scene altogether, and you find yourself blessed to have captured them while they lasted.

What do you love to do when you're not working?

Anything outdoors! I love skiing, horseback riding and rock climbing. I also love traveling to someplace new, even if it’s just a new, nearby neighborhood I haven’t been to before.

Thanks for the photo, Kyra!
