I recently read a book by Alyssa Mastromonaco, former White House deputy chief of staff, called “Who Thought This Was a Good Idea? And Other Questions You Should Have Answers to When You Work in the White House,” where she candidly shares some of her biggest lessons in leadership from her time working with Barack Obama. Whatever your political views, everyone can agree that working in the White House is a really big deal -- and these leadership lessons apply across any industry!
Another year of SXSW is in the books! This year, Cutline had a whopping FIVE clients at the conference and festival that takes over Austin, Texas every March. Some led presentations or spoke on panels, while others hosted their own parties and events with food, drink, music, and even puppies! Curious? Read on to find out how Cutline clients shared their love of all things tech with the SXSW crowd.
If you’re like most of us, you probably have what seems like a gazillion photos on your phone. As a new mom, my camera roll is filled to the brim with pictures of our baby boy; not to mention hundreds of photos of our dogs and cat. When I heard about Chatbooks as a must-try service for preserving all these special memories, I knew I had to give it a try. In fact, Chatbooks says that each year Americans take a collective three trillion photos with their phone! But what do you do with all those photos?
Last year I spent two weeks traveling all around Spain. I started in Barcelona, headed up to San Sebastian-Donostia and then headed down to Madrid. All this while only knowing about three Spanish words: hola, adios, and el baño? I did the best I could to learn as much Spanish as possible before the trip, but have to admit, I didn’t do a great job. So I HAD to write this blog post telling you how Google Translate saved my vacation.
We can all agree that this was a year for the books, right? While it was one rollercoaster of a ride, there were also some pretty incredible moments throughout the year. For the world, and for us. With 2017 coming into our rear view mirrors, the Cutline Crew took a moment to reflect on this past year and celebrate some of our favorite moments. From bringing not one... not two... but three (!) new bundles of little boy joy and life into the world (shout out to Mason, Beckham and Welles!) , to traveling all around the globe, and even to finding new fitness inspiration, please join us as we recap our year! And as we sign off and head into 2018, we hope that you have a wonderful holiday season.

We all know the saying, “all good things must come to an end.” This phrase rings especially true when it comes to my favorite shows after the season finale airs, and I’m left with nothing but replays until the following year’s season premiere. Luckily, streaming sites such as Netflix and Hulu have hundreds of shows with plenty of seasons to fill the void. I’ve listed some of the best below so we all won’t be sad for too long.
