Let’s face it. It’s 2017, and there’s no shame in having your smartphone ready at a moment’s notice. From keeping up with friends to responding to work email on-the-go, our devices are essential to our everyday lives. They’re practically an extension of us. However, a phenomena known as text neck has come out of our consistent use of electronics. Text neck comes from our tendency to lean forward from our neck when we’re working intently from our devices, which can put unwelcome strain on our neck and backs. Our phones and laptops aren’t going anywhere, but there are ways to avoid the negative effects of text neck without losing the convenience of our devices. We’ve come up with a list of four ways to counteract it.

Last year, I made a New Year's Resolution to travel more in 2016 -- and I am happy to share that I actually achieved it. In February, I packed my rain boots for Seattle, enjoyed the sunshine and salty ocean of Mexico in March, tasted fame in L.A. in September, and explored the amazing history of Spain in October.  Read more

iRobot Roomba 980 Review

For Christmas, my brother-in-law bought himself an iRobot Roomba 980. Priced at $899.00, the autonomous robotic vacuum has wheels and rotating brushes that cleans floors, and, well, lives. Upon seeing it, I was skeptical because I am old-school and like to use sweeping/cleaning as therapy...also, I was raised in a home where cleaning is a rite of passage, so I deeply value the cultural tradition that comes with a clean home. Useful Google Chrome extensions for all of your Web browsing needs!

Google Chrome is my default browser for all of my devices, including my MacBook Air, Chromebook, and Galaxy Note 5, for several reasons. I absolutely love that I can retrieve bookmarks, tabs, and even my browsing history for any of these devices anywhere. It’s definitely the first app I install on any new device, and one that I use every single day.

Another reason why I love using Google Chrome, specifically on my MacBook Air, is the fact that I can add extensions to my browser. The options are endless -- from add-ons that let me quickly check the number of new emails to instant coupon finders, extensions help make sure that you’re being the most productive while surfing the Web. You can find a full list of extensions on the Chrome Web Store, and below are a few extensions that I use every day.
