Cutline's Founders

Megan Lamb

Partner

Megan has spent more than a dozen years working for some of the world's most innovative technology companies. She's brought the best of those experiences to Cutline to give our clients new ideas that are creative, compelling, and practical – an approach often lost at today's PR firms.

Prior to founding Cutline, Megan helped build sister company Merritt Group, a bi-coastal agency focused on enterprise and government communications for clients like Verizon, Booz Allen Hamilton, Software AG, and others. Megan started her career at Fleishman-Hillard, building consumer PR programs for clients such as America Online and The Learning Company and engaging in public policy work on issues like online privacy and children's protection. She supported the group of plaintiffs who challenged the Communications Decency Act, the government's first attempt to censor the Internet. The issue was decided in favor of the plaintiffs before the United States Supreme Court.

A graduate of Duke University, Megan is an avid basketball fan. When she's not catching up on the latest news in college basketball, she's usually racking up frequent flier miles traveling between Washington, D.C., and San Francisco, or trying to keep up with her growing family.

Erin Fors

Partner

For more than a decade, Erin has turned her passion for technology into a passion for technology PR. Her work for companies like Palm, Documentum and CafePress.com has won industry awards and - more importantly - delivered real results. In all her experience - ranging from helping to launch Palm's first phone-PDA hybrid and first Wi-Fi-enabled PDA, to building and managing a grassroots community outreach and public information campaign that yielded unprecedented participation in the 2000 Census - Erin's dedication and drive have had an undeniable impact.

What's more, Erin doesn't just believe that attitude is what differentiates Cutline from other agencies - she lives it and breathes it. She pushes our clients and our staff every day, encouraging them to find the unique stories behind who they are and what they do, and then helping them share those stories as loudly and as widely as possible.

Erin has worked for a range of small and large public relations agencies including Merritt Group, A&R Partners (now A&R Edelman), NCG Porter Novelli, UpStart Communications, and Fleishman-Hillard serving a wide range of clients such as Palm, HP, Documentum, JD Edwards, Orange County Transportation Authority, Disney and the Anaheim Visitor's & Convention Bureau. Prior to joining Merritt Group and co-founding Cutline, Erin served as the spokesperson for CafePress.com.

A graduate of California State University Fullerton, Erin honed her sun-soaking skills while spending time in Southern California. In her spare time, Erin can still be found in the sun, spending time with friends, reading and doing yoga (though not all at once). She's also a mobile device junkie, so it's a good bet that if she's awake, she's talking, texting, and browsing (yes, usually all at once).
