There’s almost nothing that excites me more than planning for a vacation. Whether it’s a quick weekend trip to a city I’ve wanted to visit forever, or a two-week journey to Europe, nailing down the logistics of a trip is one of my favorite parts. With the help of some of my favorite apps and sites, planning your next trip will be a breeze.
Hopper - Let’s face it, the anxiety over determining the best time to get the best price for plane tickets can be overwhelming. Even when planning in advance, time is of the essence when it comes to airline prices. Thankfully, Hopper does the work for us and lets you know when you should make the jump and purchase tickets. If it’s not the right time, the app sends you push notifications and alerts you the minute the perfect occasion arises.
TripAdvisor - Usually, the easiest part of planning a trip is picking the location! After that, it can get tricky to navigate everything else. I love using TripAdvisor to let me know the best airports to fly into, the best neighborhoods to stay in, and even the best places to eat. The app and website can also double as a quick booking agent, making it even easier to plan everything all at once.
Airbnb - If you’re traveling on a budget, hotels can seem pretty pricey. Luckily, Airbnb is one of my favorite solutions for finding a place to stay! Most of the time you will be able to find a place to rest your head at night for a much cheaper price than a hotel. Another cool feature I love? Airbnb now has communities of locals that are able to recommend things to do where you’re visiting, so no more falling into expensive tourist traps!
