Labor Day is weekend kicks off tomorrow and that usually means backyard BBQs, poolside soirees and a well-deserved three-day weekend. But as much fun as a holiday weekend can be, it can get just as stressful. There’s party planning to do, travel itineraries to coordinate and plenty of food and drinks to prepare. For this Labor Day, we’ve come up with a list for you to make your weekend a little bit easier and a lot more fun.
Weddings are a beautiful occasion to celebrate your union with your loved one in front of friends and family, but they can be quite daunting to plan for. As someone who’s getting married in about two months, I’ve had the chance to try out just about every wedding-related technology over the past year. Below are some of my favorite websites and tech tools that have kept me on track (and sane) during the wedding planning process.
Let’s face it. It’s 2017, and there’s no shame in having your smartphone ready at a moment’s notice. From keeping up with friends to responding to work email on-the-go, our devices are essential to our everyday lives. They’re practically an extension of us. However, a phenomena known as text neck has come out of our consistent use of electronics. Text neck comes from our tendency to lean forward from our neck when we’re working intently from our devices, which can put unwelcome strain on our neck and backs. Our phones and laptops aren’t going anywhere, but there are ways to avoid the negative effects of text neck without losing the convenience of our devices. We’ve come up with a list of four ways to counteract it.

Alongside Gmail and Facebook, Instagram is one of the most frequently used apps on my smartphone. As an avid photographer, I love posting my own pictures on Instagram, and to browse through others’ beautifully ‘grammed photos. However, there are times when I just want to print a photo from Instagram to stick on my wall or use the photos I’ve taken to create a nice gift for friends and family.
