9 Things the Cutline Crew Hopes to Do in 2022

It feels difficult to believe, but here we are again—kicking off a brand new year! Per Cutline tradition, we came together to share our wishes, dreams, and a handful of things we hope to do in months ahead.

Journal with "2022" on the cover

Camille: Commit to eco-friendly living

“I want to truly commit to eco-friendly living. Admittedly, I do the bare minimum today but I want to make it a priority for myself and my family all year long.” —Camille

Esther: Become my healthiest!

“Fitness goals are so cliche, but this is the year I really, truly, resolve to become my healthiest! 2021 was all about adjusting to post-partum life again and being a mom of two, but now that my littlest one is finally, fully done with middle-of-the-night wake-ups (yay!) I feel like this is the perfect time to kickstart an early morning workout routine again. I’m truly excited!” —Esther

Lily: Sew clothes (inspired by TikTok’s #ThriftFlip)

“Learn how to sew clothes! TikTok’s #ThriftFlip has inspired me to tackle this skill. Not only am I excited about learning to make clothes for myself, but also love the idea of turning an old piece of clothing into something brand new. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, right? —Lily

Maria: Be the best version of myself

“My goal for 2022 is to simply keep growing and improving in every aspect of my life. I’d like to continue to learn from my colleagues, become financially literate, and start planning for my future family and self. I’d also like to take better care of myself and find out what exercise routine and diet works best for me. All in all, I hope to be the best version of myself in the new year! —Maria

Shannon: Find balance

“In 2022, I want to find more balance. When I moved back to New York City, my life immediately sped up. Next year, I want to enjoy the fun of New York City while striking a better balance between self-care, my social life, and my work life.” —Shannon

Krista: Read more

Read more! I half blame the pandemic, but I turned into the queen of streaming shows this year. In 2022, I want to read the 10+ books I bought over 2021 and haven’t started yet—topics range from home decor to mindfulness and I have some recommended fiction reads in the mix, too!” —Krista

Sophia: Be more present

“I went through a lot of life changes in 2021 and sometimes I wish I stopped and savored the small things, instead of getting so caught up in the bigger picture of it all. My goal for 2022 is to be more present and appreciate the moment instead of longing for it once it’s gone.” —Sophia

Michelle: Appreciate everything life has to offer

“My goal for 2022 is to focus on appreciating more of what life has to offer by being open to opportunities, staying present, and surrounding myself with good energy. I want to approach this new year as an opportunity to learn and grow, document moments (perhaps become a TikTok influencer?!) and not get caught up in the stress of running to the next thing.” —Michelle

Megan: Meditate

“I say this every year, and one year it might actually stick. But I really want to meditate more (or maybe at all). It’s so good for you (apparently). I just can’t get into the habit. Send help!” —Megan
